Paul McCartney's Expensive Divorce - Sunday, July 22, 2007 at 23:40
|
In the wake of Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mill's divorce, a new settlement has been worked out in which McCartney will pay Mills £70 Million! If it goes through, it will go down in history as the largest divorce settlement in British history.
If the settlement gets approved, Mills could receive an immediate lump sum of £15 million from the former rock pioneer. Mills would then receive another £3.5 dollars each year until their daughter, who is only three, turns eighteen.
Included in the settlement is a clause by which Sir Paul will pay all of Beatrice's expenses including travel, school and security. Mills and McCartney will both continue to share access of Beatrice.
The only good news for him in all of this is that Sir Paul McCartney's £10 million mansion in St. John's Wood is safe. It is now clear that she will not be getting the property that Sir Paul has called home for the last thirty years.
