The brand new Lillian Axe CD, Waters Rising , was just released in the U.S. last week (I'm still waiting for the copy Amazon shipped me). It's also being released in Europe this Monday, July 30th. It should definitely be worth looking for!
They also start a U.S. tour of 36 cities on September 4th in Atlanta, and I'm definitely looking forward to their West Hollwood show at Whiskey-A-Go-Go on October 1st! The last time I saw them was years ago in New York when they were opening for Zebra and at the time they impressed me much more than Zebra did. That's particularly impressive when you consider the fact that I've seen Zebra many times since then, and they've blown me away every time, and are one of the best bands I've seen live.
