 Even the lord of darkness needs medical attention every now and then. Denver Colorado's 9News Entertainment reporter Kirk Montgomery has confirmed that metal icon Ozzy Osbourne has undergone surgery following an Ozzfest appearance. According to sources, Ozzy mentioned having bad leg pains all day long. After the concert he went to Rose Medical Hospital and was diagnosed with, and immediately operated on for, a blood clot. Ozzy was expected to be released today, Sunday the 29th. His wife, Sharon Osbourne, is not traveling with him the way she normally does.
Many speculate that this may mean the end of Ozzy's performances on this year's Ozzfest. Others feel that Ozzy is a dedicated monster who would tour in a wheelchair if he had to. However, according to MyFox Colorado, Ozzy's management has released a statement saying:
Ozzy Osbourne had a minor outpatient procedure at Rose Medical Center late last night. He was released early this morning and is doing well.
Ozzy is currently in Kansas City where he will be headlining tomorrow's Ozzfest show at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre.
According to that, things look pretty good as far as Ozzfest goes. But I guess only time will tell for sure. |
